Sitter Sessions 

What is a Sitter Session?

 

A sitter session for designed around your baby is a wonderful opportunity for families to capture their little one's personality and growth, especially if they missed the chance for newborn photos.


These sessions are typically scheduled when the baby is between 6 to 10 months old, to celebrate the milestone & the time when they can sit up on their own but may not yet be crawling or walking.
It's a perfect window to photograph babies in an adorable, natural, and playful state as they explore their surroundings or interact with props or family members. Unlike the newborn session, which focuses on those early, tiny details, a sitter session highlights the baby's developing personality, expressions, and milestones in a more active and engaging way.

An ideal time to capture the charm of this stage, preserving memories of the baby's first year with stunning and heartfelt images.

 

How does it work?
Each milestone session runs for an hour or so, where we let your baby explore toys, props and natural poses to highlight their developing personality.

All these sessions are held at my home from home studio where you choose the style for your babies session to make the photos unique and personal to you,

 Access to a range of props, backdrop and accessories to make your baby feel like a superstar, and of course plenty of time to sneak in a few sibling photos too! 
If you missed out on your child's newborn photos this is the next best thing.

20 % Booking Deposit requied at point of booking
All Sessions come with a choice of a private password protected gallery to view or a private studio revisit to view your images & the option to purchase additional JPEGS / Prints

All of your chosen images are printed onto the best quality paper & your digital images are delivered as high resolution files. The digital file collections all include printing rights.

 

I understand the ease and flexibility of buying the digital files, but don’t let your images sit on a hard drive. The beautiful images we are going to create deserve to be displayed using only the best quality products. 

​

** Once you've been sent your online gallery you will have a week to select your images. Failure to select during this time will result in the gallery being deleted and a admin fee of £20 to recreate it. 

FAQ's For My Sitter Session

Are Family Included in the Photos?

Yes of course. A sitter session is celebrating your baby and they wouldn't be here without you! So of course you're welcome to have a few family photos as part of this session.  I do ask though that once the family photos are completed it is all about your baby as this session is all about them!

Do you offer sitter session's on the weekend?

Due to the nature of sitter sessions I'm afraid I only offer these during weekdays. This way my Saturdays are free for family sessions where it's harder for people to get time off work / school. 

If you would like family shots but one member cannot make it, I would decide whether you'd prefer a family photoshoot instead.

Do we have to bring anything for our photos?

For sitter sessions the full use of  my studio Props, backdrops, outfits and headwear are all available if you decide to use them.  These are hand selected and decided by you in a pre-session consultation. During the consultation I work with you to create a theme/style for the session so the final images are what you're dreaming of. 
Of course if you have something personal or an idea you'd love to include please et me know and I'd happily make it part of the images. 

Please note for my wrapped mini sessions only the pre-set up backdrop/set/prop is used.
